I am a trans-and-interdisciplinary researcher that combines behavioral, social and life sciences, arts, and communications, with fifteen years of applied research experience and community work. I am serving as a Postdoctoral Associate in Nature and Health for the Gund Institute for Environment in University of Vermont (UVM). Specifically, I am working with indigenous populations in Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia to understand eco-communalist well-being and mental health effects of disconnecting from traditional agroecosystems. In addition, I am a Faculty Associate in the Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies in Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL). Also, the Research Coordinator of the Caliata Initiative, a partnership promoting community-based projects in rural Andes.
